Burren Tour
The Burren district is famous throughout the world for its unique karst landscape. If you choose this tour we will arrange for you to be picked up at your accommodation and bring you on a trip through this region, steeped in history and geological heritage.
Your journey will include visits to Dunguaire Castle on the outskirts of Kinvara village,
onwards to Ballyvaughan, Kilfenora and Lahinch, with its famous 18 hole links golf course and renowned surfing beach. Your journey will continue with a stopover at the famous Cliffs of Moher, Corcomroe Abbey and St. Fachnan's Church in Kilfenora. Your tour will continue along the coast road to the village of Fanore and on to Black Head, one of the western promontories of County Clare. Throughout your journey you will have a chance to stop off at some hostelries to sample a bowl of seafood chowder or a nice pint of Guinness, or both perhaps!

A visit to the village of Doolin is a must, the home of traditional Irish music. Along the way there will be ample photo opportunities to capture the sheer fascination and magic of this unique landscape. 'An Burren' is Gaelic for 'stony place' however when you witness and experience the landscape around you, you may find this description to be a slight understatement.
This worthwhile tour can also be incorporated into your itinerary as you are being picked up from Shannon Airport.
